SMS Notifications

SMS works with your institution's own SMS provider account. Netgsm, Verimor, Posta Güvercini and Mutlucell are supported. You enter the account details in settings once, and messages go out under your own sender title.

• Absence notification: after saving attendance, Send SMS to Parents sends a message to the parents of absent students. Students who were already notified come pre-checked and are not selected again.
• Automatic absence SMS: if you turn it on, the message goes out by itself 3 minutes after the last change to the day's attendance. A student marked by mistake and corrected right away gets no SMS.
• Tuition fee reminder: in the tuition fee list, select the unpaid installments and send reminders in bulk or one by one. The date of the last reminder is shown in the list.
• Message templates: add the parent, student, date, course, term, amount, remaining balance and due date fields to the text by clicking them. The preview updates the character and SMS count as you type.
• The phone number comes from the parent's record. If a student has more than one parent, all of them receive it, and records without a phone number are flagged before sending.
• SMS history: every message is recorded with recipient, type, status and the sending user, and can be exported to Excel.

Example

1. Open the SMS tab in Settings. Choose the provider, then enter the sender title, username and password. Send a test SMS to your own number.
2. Take the morning attendance and save it.
3. Click Send SMS to Parents, check the list and the message preview, and send.
4. Mid-month, in Tuition Tracking, check Students in Debt, select the records and remind them by SMS.

For schools, courses and study centers that want to reach parents quickly. SMS fees are charged to that account under your agreement with your provider.
