Users, Roles and Settings
You decide who can see and do what through roles. Institution details, terms and definitions are kept in one place.
Users are divided into administrators, instructors, students and parents. Each user is assigned a role; the role determines which screens the person sees and what they can do.
Roles and users
- Ready-made roles: Administrator, Instructor, Student and Parent.
- You can create new roles. View, manage and delete permissions are given separately for each section.
- A role can also be limited so that the user sees only their own records.
- Usernames go through an availability check. Passwords can be reset, and the last login time is shown.
- Users change their own details and password from their profile. A light or dark theme can be selected.
Institution settings
The institution name, logo, language (Turkish or English), time zone and backdating limit are set here. Terms are defined, and one of them becomes the active term.
The Definitions section holds holidays, education types, education levels, roles and duties, grade levels, lesson hours, attendance definitions, behavior actions, event types, income and expense categories, and payment methods.
In Settings, enter the institution name, logo and active term. In Definitions, prepare the grade levels and lesson hours. In Roles, grant permissions, for example student and tuition fee permission for a secretary. In Users, create the accounts and assign roles.
For institution managers and IT staff. The deputy principal, secretary and instructors use the same program, but each sees only the screens they have permission for.
